CHARLESTON - Myoma Marie Smith, 85, died at 11:45 a.m. Nov. 24, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Aug. 27, 1916, in Wyatt, daughter of the late Onie Hammes and Irene Opal Bailey Gray, she was a lifelong resident of Mississippi County. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and Rebekah's of the IOOF Lodge in Charleston.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Martin E. Pazdera of Charleston; one sister and brother-in-law, Montel and Marshall Stone of Charleston; two granddaughters, Julia Conley and Susan Grogan of Charleston; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Martin E. and Amy Pazdera of Jacksonville, Fla.; and three great-grandchildren, Mikey Conley and J.J. Grogan of Charleston and Karlie Pazdera of Jacksonville.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Charleston.
Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. Thursday until service time at 1 p.m. at the church, where Gerald Collier, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
