Marie Robinson

CHAFFEE - Marie W. Robinson, 78, died at 8:40 p.m. Nov. 25, 2001, at her home.

Born July 19, 1923, at Painton, daughter of the late William and Winnie Barker LaGrand, she was a pants presser for Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee before retiring and was a member of the General Baptist Church at Chaffee.

Survivors include: three sons, Charles "Chuck" Robinson and Steven Robinson of Chaffee and Rick Robinson of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Carolyn Nance of Chaffee; one brother, Marvin LaGrand of Chaffee; two sisters, Millie Head of Prudenville, Mich., and Faye Heath of Chaffee; and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Watis Harrell, officiating.

Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Mark Robinson, Chris Robinson, Nick Robinson, Jamie Myers, Alan Robinson and Travis Simmons.
