In the A game, Sikeston trailed 8-7 after one quarter and 18-13 at the half.
The Bluejays outscored the Bulldogs 32-12 in the second half to cruise to the victory.
"We played really sloppy," said Sikeston coach Kevin Self. "They sped us up with their press. We missed a lot of easy shots. We played hard but we didn't play very well."
Sikeston was led by Trey Spence's 14 points. Charleston was led by Hamalton with 12 points and Williams with 10.
Sikeston's 8th graders fall to 0-7 on the season.
In the B game, Sikeston led 14-0 after one quarter and never trailed. The Bulldogs led 26-8 at the half. Charleston outscored Sikeston 21-14 in the second half but the lead was too much to overcome.
Tyler Brooks led Sikeston's B team with 18 points.
"We played really well," said Self of the B team. "We ran a good offense and got the ball inside. Tyler had a good game on the boards and got a lot of easy buckets. We took care of the ball better in this game."
