EAST PRAIRIE - Elizabeth Miller, 75, died at 6:20 a.m. Dec. 13, 2001, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.
Born May 10, 1926, in O'Bion, Tenn., daughter of the late Newt and Myrtle Estes Brewer, she lived in East Prairie most of her life. She was a custodian for East Prairie R-2 Schools, retiring in 1995 and was a member of the Nelson United Methodist Church in East Prairie.
On March 15, 1946, in Charleston, she married James Miller who preceded her in death on March 8, 1998.
Survivors include: one son, Sammy Miller of East Prairie; three brothers, David Brewer, Frankie Brewer and Michael Brewer of East Prairie; eight sisters, Annie Chance, Brenda Riggins, Kay Youngblood, Cordy Brewer, Barbara McAfee and Donna Shands of East Prairie, Lou Williams of Banks, Ala., and Phyllis Williams of LaCenter, Ky.; and six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday. Carl Cox, pastor of Temple Baptist Church in Sikeston, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
Pallbearers will be: Andy Youngblood, Gary Miller, Glen Hall, Don Chance, Dickie Chance and Ronnie Chance.
