CHAFFEE - Beatrice Keller, 83, died at 9:10 a.m. Dec. 18, 2001, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.
Born June 8, 1918, at Parma, daughter of the late Clarence Henry and Lethie Marie Biby Nordin, she was a waitress and cook at the Copper Kitchen in Chaffee before retiring and was a volunteer for the Chaffee RSVP for 23 years. A member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Chaffee Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, she was a member of the Church of God Prophecy.
In 1935, she married Roscoe Keller who preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, one brother, one grandson and one brother.
Survivors include: three daughters, Alberta Chandler of Bourbonnais, Ill., Leona Hernandez of Oran and Jewell Hampton of Chaffee; two brothers, Henry Nordin and James Nordin of Chaffee; and 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three step grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Billy Anders officiating.
Pallbearers will be: George Giroux, Jeff Cook, Russell Rister, Randy Holder, Barry Hampton and Scottie Nordin.
Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery.
