Has there been anyone sentenced in the death of Wayne Limbaugh from Sikeston? I have not heard anything on the news. I know a man was charged with shooting him in the back. Any information you could publish would be appreciated.

Merlin Phillips' trial is set for April 1, 2 and 3 in Wayne County.

We would like to express our apology to those in the community who were not able to enjoy our fish fry on Jan. 5, but we are a non-profit organization and over 70 percent of our membership is boys under the age of 15. We do not have enough adult help to allow us to deliver and still have people serve the food. The event was advertised as carryouts available; it never said we would deliver. We have several of these events a year and we never deliver. I just got through watching an infomercial that had just one more weight loss in a pill. If weight loss came with a pill system and you didn't have to do anything else, which is like they try to say (although they say you have to diet and exercise) - if you have to diet and exercise, you don't need a pill.

I'd like to SpeakOut to the person or persons who stole the hubcaps off my car. First things first. Be glad I didn't catch you because if I had, you 'd be in the hospital with serious traction. Secondly, you're an idiot. Anyone who steals hubcaps off someone's car is an idiot and has nothing better to do than to steal. The only reason you did it is because you're jealous because I have the knowledge and the ability to fix up a car and make it look nice, and you don't. Once again, you're lucky I didn't catch you.
