DEXTER - Robert Leroy Hale, 67, died at 1 a.m. Jan. 26, 2002, at Missouri Southern Healthcare.
Born Dec. 11, 1934, in Woodruff County, Ark., son of the late Duncan and Mary Myrtle Bailey, he was a retired boilermaker and was a member of the Eagles Club in Dexter.
On Aug. 30, 1956, he married Phyllis Stenger who survives of Valparaiso, Ind.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Brenda Hale, address unavailable, Karen Horst, Crown Point, Ind., and Kathy Redar, Winfield, Ill.; one stepson, Jeff Fyke of Dexter; five brothers, Tom Hale and Donnie Hale of East Prairie, Harold Hale of Brownwood, Marion Hale of Wappapello and Frankie Hale of Jackson; two sisters, Margaret Bailey of Fairdealing and Martha Richmond of Longview, Texas; and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded ind death by one brother, Johnny Hale.
Visitation will be at 5 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday.
Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery in East Prairie.
