Ruby Hazel

MOUNT VERNON - Ruby Annas Hazel, 89, formerly of Sikeston, died at 10:53 p.m. Aug. 1, 2004, at St. John's Regional Health Care in Springfield.

Born Sept. 2, 1914, in Scott County, daughter of the late Lonzo and Maggie Grasty Hazel, she lived in Sikeston before moving to Mount Vernon in 1956, where she was a housekeeper for area residents.

Survivors include: one brother-in-law, Dale McAdoo of Merrillville, Ind.; and one nephew, Orval Ray Ford of Puxico.

Services were conducted at 11 a.m. today at the Mount Vernon Christian Church.

Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
