The award recognizes a young agent whose focus has broadened beyond his or her own personal career and who has worked to help other agents, consumers and the industry as a whole.
Kevin Hutchinson, chairman of the MAIA Young Agents Committee, presented the award to Dambach in June during the Association's Young Agents Conference at the Lake of the Ozarks. Dambach's accomplishments will also be recognized at the Association's upcoming Leadership Conference July 22 at the Lake of the Ozarks.
Dambach, 38, is co-owner of Dambach Insurance Agency and is a licensed insurance producer. A lifelong resident of Lilbourn, he holds a bachelor's degree in management from Southeast Missouri State University at Cape Girardeau. He has been in the insurance business for 15 years.
Active in his profession, Dambach was recently elected to the board of directors of the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents. He was chairman of the MAIA Young Agents Committee in 2002 and currently serves on the Association's Membership Committee.
Locally, he has served two terms as president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Southeast Missouri.
Active in his community, Dambach has served as a volunteer fire fighter for 15 years and is secretary/treasurer of the Lilbourn Volunteer Fire Department. He also served as president of the Lilbourn Memorial Library Board of Trustees for nine years, as president of Lilbourn Kiwanis Club and is a former member of the Lilbourn Community Betterment Association. He is a member of the Lilbourn United Methodist Church.
Dambach is the father of three children, Madalyn, Ben and Chloe.
