Patsy Fitzgerald

CAPE GIRARDEAU - Patsy Joe Fitzgerald, 71, formerly of Dexter, died Jan. 27, 2002, at the Beverly Healthcare Facility in Cape Girardeau.

Born Aug. 9, 1930, in Parma, daughter of the late Charlie and Cora Lee Sanders Trout, she was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

On May 3, 1967, in Morehouse, she married Reginal "Pete" Fitzgerald who preceded her in death on May 30, 1995.

Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Recia Morrison; one brother, George Trout; and three sisters, Christine Humphries, Arvetta Trout and Loetta Gibson.

Survivors include: one sister, Hazel Abernathy of Marble Hill; and seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Essex Cemetery. The Rev. Doyle Corlew of Dexter will officiate.
