WAPPAPELLO - Bob Gramling, 68, died Dec. 21, 2001, at his home.
Born Oct. 17, 1933, at Walcott, Ark., son of the late Estes and Cordie Mays Gramling, he lived in St. Louis before moving to Wappapello in 1986. He was employed by General Motors for 30 years and owned and operated Direct Advertising Publications in Wappapello. He was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Shook, a third degree Mason and a member of the Eastern Star.
On April 30, 1983, in St. Louis County, he married Barbara Dover who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Philip Gramling of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Michael Gramling of Kennett; one daughter, Debra Pierce of Kennett; two stepsons, Richard Wadlow and Marty Fancher of St. Louis; one stepdaughter, Tammy Kitscher of Poplar Bluff; three brothers, Stan Gramling of Jonesboro, Ark., Eugene Gramling and Malcolm Gramling of Kennett; three sisters, Maxine Ward of Aurora, Aledene TInkle of Kennett and Madonnna Stewart of Walcott, Ark.; and 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Frankie Gramling.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico with the Rev. Lee Roy Hefner officiating.
Burial will follow in the Elder Cemetery in Campbell.
