CHARLESTON - In an effort to reduce trash placed in landfills, a recycling bin for aluminum cans, glass and newspapers (no magazines) will be available at the Wal-Mart parking lot. The bin is available courtesy of Jones Waste Service Inc.

CHARLESTON - Above everything else, there's one thing that nags Lennies McFerren about his team being the No. 1 seed in this year's version of the 47th Annual University High Christmas Tournament. BLOOMFIELD - When Don Edwards stepped behind the three-point stripe Saturday, the next move was almost guaranteed. Bombs away. South Pemiscot ended with a 79-78 win over Richland for the consolation trophy of the Bloomfield Christmas Tournament.
