MOREHOUSE - Dorothy Mae Clapp, 66, died July 13, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Jan. 10, 1938, in Braggadocio, daughter of the late Cecil and Gladys Norwood Corbin, she was a member of the Morehouse Assembly of God Church and attended school in Pemiscot County.
On Oct. 14 1952, in Hernando, Miss., she married Sidney Joseph Clapp who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, David Lee Clapp of Morehouse and Terry Wayne Clapp of St. Louis; two daughters, Phyllis Ann Warren and Ruth Elaine Ayres of St. Louis; one sister, Mary Paolucci of Blythe, Calif.; two stepsisters, Elizabeth Shelton of Livingston, La., and Corrine Davis of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
One son, Michael Dale Clapp, preceded her in death.
Services were conducted Thursday at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home in Caruthersville with the Rev. John Goss officiating.
Burial followed in the Little Prairie Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Mike Bell, Michael Woodworth, David L. Clapp Jr., John D. McMahon Sr., Bill Lowry and Shawn Robards.
