Blanche Cooper

BLOOMFIELD - Blanche Gertie Cooper, 86, died Jan. 3, 2002, at her home.

Born June 26, 1915, at Ardeola, daughter of the late Sam and Gertie Summers Mason, she was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Bloomfield.

On Feb. 26, 1936, she married Raymond Cooper who preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two sons, Jerry Cooper of Bloomfield and Roger Cooper of Essex; one daughter, Ramona Kelley of Bloomfield; one brother, Donald Mason of Gooding, Idaho; one sister, Thelma Hasty of Bertrand; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

One son, Carson Cooper, also preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Chuck Clark and the Rev. Andrew Lovins will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.
