PORTAGEVILLE - A two-vehicle accident resulted in moderate injures for both drivers.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the incident occurred at 3:02 p.m. Wednesday at Route K, five miles south of Portageville, when a northbound vehicle driven by Oz. Armstrong Jr., 31, of Hayti failed to yield to an eastbound vehicle driven by 39-year-old Jimmy Babb of Portageville and was struck in the left side by Babb's vehicle.

Both men were taken to the Hayti Hospital.
