SIKESTON -- One individual is in custody after a break-in at Freshour Cycle Tuesday morning.
According to the Sikeston Department of Public Safety, the front window to the store, located at 816 S. Main, was broken sometime after 10 p.m. Monday. Six bikes were taken along with three pair of glasses and one pair of goggles.
Officers with Sikeston DPS have been able to recover five of the six bikes that were stolen and one arrest was made Tuesday afternoon. The name of the individual arrested is being withheld pending the filing of formal charges by the Scott County prosecutor.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call Sikeston DPS at 471-1500. All communications will be confidential.
