Man injured in accident

CHARLESTON - A pedestrian was seriously injured in a leaving the scene accident Thursday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Prince Earnest, 35, of East Prairie sustained the injuries at 11:30 p.m. on Mississippi County Highway 60/62, east of Charleston.

Earnest was taken to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. No further information was available as of press time.
