CHARLESTON - Naomi Bowman Glenn, 76, died at 8:35 a.m. Nov. 21, 2001, at her home.
Born March 20, 1925, in Dardanelle, Ark., daughter of the late John Carey and Rosa Lee Cossey Bowman, she lived in Charleston most of her life, where she was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She was a beautician at Freda's Beauty Shop in East Prairie for many years and was of the Baptist belief.
On Feb. 12, 1946, she married James A. Glenn who preceded her in death on April 7, 1993.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Debbie Glenn of Scott City; two daughters and sons-in-law, Robin and Ron Seabaugh of Charleston and Cathy and Jerry Hensley of St. Charles; two brothers, Haskell Bowman of Wyatt and Paul Bowman of Paducah, Ky.; three sisters, Rachel Elam of Houston, Texas, Betty Dunning of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Margaret Reese of Paducah; and seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Also preceding her in death were one son, Michael Glenn; two brothers, Sam Bowman and John Bowman; and one sister, Odean Bolen.
Services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home with the Rev. Jon Archie, pastor of Elm Street Baptist Church of Charleston, officiating.
Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Pallbearers were: Jimmy Seabaugh, Bradley Glenn, Keith Anderson, Jason Keesee, Paul David Keesee, Buck Story, David Dunning and Joshua Dudley.
