ALTON -- Rosella Sandage, 78, formerly of Bloomfield, died April 29, 2007, at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains.
Born Dec. 25, 1928, at Sikeston, she was the daughter of the late Loyd and Lela Poyner Hicks.
On Dec. 26, 1946, she married J.W. Sandage who preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1993.
She was also preceded in death by infant daughters, Stella Faye Sandage and Ella Mae Sandage; and three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include: four sons, Harold Sandage and James Sandage of the state of Arkansas, Melvin Sandage of West Plains and Richard Sandage of Thayer; four daughters, Diana Keller of West Plains, Rosemarie Fisher of Alton and Patsy Haluck and Joanna Hicks of the state of Illinois; three brothers, L.G. Hicks of Williamsville, Otis Hicks of Burleson, Texas, and Ernest Hicks of Joplin; two sisters, Dorothy Staples of Wentzville and Joyce Johnson of Beatrice, Neb.; and 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chiles-
Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield. The Rev. Don Lafferty will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
