Three file for council election

SIKESTON - Three candidates have filed to run for the

two seats opening on the Sikeston City Council,

according to Carroll Couch, city clerk.

Candidates filing so far are Sue Rogers and incumbents

Phil Boyer and Bill Mitchell.

Couch said if two more people file a primary election

will be held in February to reduce the number of

candidates to two for each seat with a final election

then set for April.

The deadline to file is Nov. 20.
