SIKESTON - Richard Herbert Hagen, 43, died Jan. 15, 2002, at the Jefferson Medical Center in Jefferson City.

Born May 3, 1958, in Britton, S.D., son of Nita McGregor Hagen Brown of Sleepy Eye, Minn., and the late Donald Herbert Hagen, he had attended Concordia Lutheran Church and was a mechanic for Mid-South Salvage.

Survivors in addition to his mother include: one son, Eric Lee Hagen of Sleepy Eye; one daughter, Amber Lynn Hagen of Charleston; three brothers, Mark Hagen of Sikeston and Donald Hagen and Jim Hagen of Sleepy Eye; and four sisters, Vangie Jones of Sikeston, Denise Goff and Fara Hagen of Hornersville and Ami Hagen of Sleepy Eye.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Cheryle Hagen and his grandparents.

Visitation is from noon Saturday until time for a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. A.J. Wollenburg, pastor of Concordia Lutheran Church, will officiate and the New Madrid American Legion Honor Guard will conduct full military honors.
