WYATT - Flora Mae Harris, 91, died at 6 p.m. July 10, 2004, at Charleston Manor.
Born Dec. 7, 1912, in Tiptonville, Tenn., daughter of the late William Walter and Sally Bryson Rogers, she had lived most of her life in Mississippi County and was a member of the Wyatt Baptist Church.
On Oct. 20, 1935, she married Ivory M. Harris who preceded her in death on April 24, 2004.
Also preceding her in death were one brother, Willie Rogers; five sisters, Daisy Cubbage, Lita Mae Rogers, Dovie Lemmons, Sally Campbell and Lassie Cantrell; and one son-in-law, Edward Bowles.
Survivors include: four sons and daughters-in-law, James and Linda Harris and Glenn and Judy Harris of Charleston, and Bill and Frances Harris and Willie and Kay Harris of Wyatt; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Nola and Hank Verhelle of Dearborn Heights, Mich., and Virginia Bowles and Mary and Voundis Stephens of Wyatt; and 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Tom Bridges of Bertrand officiating.
Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: James Harris, Bill Harris, Glenn Harris, Willie Harris, Voundis Stephens and Hank Verhelle.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Ronnie Verhelle, Ken Verhelle, Bud Bowles, Sam Bowles, David Stephens, Jim Harris, Bill Harris Jr. and Robert Harris.
