Today's exchange students, tomorrow's terrorists. Many of the Nazi war criminals of World War II were educated in our country.

To the person who called in about the city mowing your grass. I don't care where you live or whether you're white, black, purple or green. I've lived here 23 years and my neighbors and I have managed to keep our yards neat. Would you also like the city to burp your babies for you or, perhaps, paint and reside your house?

I'm worried about this virus and it's about 9:30 at night. I'm sitting in my garage which is enclosed and the mosquitoes are tearing me up. Where is the mosquito sprayer? Do they have a plan? Have they implemented it? Is it being carried out? I can't believe that as dry as it's been, that we've got this kind of infestation. Just questions for the city and the city manager.

I would like to SpeakOut about our city streets. The debris is just terrible. I'm not opposed to welfare or people getting welfare, but it seems to me there are people drawing welfare who could be out there cleaning our streets. They are a disgrace. Secondly, the health department has chosen a perfect spot to build its facility. I wish the people who are opposing this would just back off and let the health department get its building built so they can serve our county. The west end would be a disastrous place for the facility.

If anyone wants to get rid of their left over garage sale stuff, we would gladly come pick it up for you. Call (573) 931-9590 and leave a message.

I know this sounds like an odd request, but the other day the wind blew my favorite yard flag away on Delta Pine Lane and I'd really like to have it back. It's small and has the head and neck of a black cat on it with an orangish-colored background. If it happened to end up in your yard, would you please call me at 472-4469.

To the person who is needing an antique chair caned, Bridicks Chair Caning in St. Louis can do it for you. The number is (314) 638-2470.
