Riley - Burger

NEW HAMBURG - Kimberly Michelle Riley and Blake Daniel Burger were married Feb. 9, 2002, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. The Rev. Normand Varone performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Don and Geri Riley of Blodgett and the bridegroom is the son of Danny and Pat Burger of New Hamburg.

Stephanie Burger, aunt of the bridegroom, served as reader and Eucharist ministers were Russell Burger and Stephanie Burger of New Hamburg, uncle and aunt of the bridegroom, and Jamie Burger of Benton, uncle of the bridegroom. Mass servers were Kristian Burger, Paris Burger and Mark Burger, cousins of the bridegroom.

Pianist Hope Essner of Kelso and soloist Missy Montgomery of Cape Girardeau provided music for the occasion.

Kristina Roslen of Sikeston attended the bride as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer McNiell of Sikeston, Amanda Gremaud of Cape Girardeau, Lyndsey Mosby of McClure, Ill., sister of the bridegroom, and Kristi Burger of New Hamburg, sister-in-law of the bridegroom. Junior bridesmaid was Jessica Riley of Blodgett, sister of the bride.

Flower girl was Kristi Brucker, daughter of Gary and Bev Brucker of New Hamburg and cousin of the bride. Summer Burger, daughter of Stephanie and Russell Burger of New Hamburg, cousin and godchild of the bridegroom, was miniature bride.

Matt Burger served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Donnie Riley of Blodgett, brother of the bride, Heath Burger of New Hamburg, cousin of the bridegroom, Justin Mosby of McClure, brother-in-law of the bridegroom and Doug Lynn of Benton. Jacob Riley of Blodgett, brother of the bride, was ring bearer. Ushers were Brett Burger and Major Burger of New Hamburg, cousins of the bridegroom.

Candlelighters were Tiffany Glastetter, cousin of the bride, and Heather Burger, cousin of the bridegroom, both of New Hamburg. Program attendants were Audrey Riley, cousin of the bride, and Vanessa Burger of Benton, cousin of the bridegroom.

A reception dinner and dance was held at the St. Lawrence Parish Center. Rhonda Riley, aunt of the bride, was cake server.

A rehearsal dinner, hosted Feb. 8 by the bridegroom's parents, was held at the St. Lawrence Parish Center.

The new Mrs. Burger graduated from Southeast Missouri State University at Cape Girardeau with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. She is a first and second grade teacher at St. Denis Catholic School in Benton.

Also a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in agribusiness, the bridegroom is a self-employed farmer.

The couple is making their home in New Hamburg.
