Notre Dame seeded first in 2A District 2 tourney

CHAFFEE -- Brackets for the 2A District 2 baseball tournament were released on Thursday.

As expected, Notre Dame picked up the top seed and will face eighth-seeded Crystal City on May 13 at 1:30 p.m. at Scott City.

Chaffee earned the No. 2 seed and will play seventh-seeded Grandview on May 13 at 1:30 p.m. at Chaffee.

Surging Kelly got the No. 3 seed and will face sixth-seeded Charleston in the first round at 4 p.m. at Chaffee.

Scott City has been seeded fourth and will play fifth-seeded Woodland at 4 p.m. at Scott City.

The semifinal games will take place on May 14 followed by the championship game on May 16 at 4 p.m. After the first round, all games will be played at Chaffee.

Admission to the event will be $3.
