CHARLESTON - Everett Eugene Pierce, 71, died July 10, 2004, at his home.
Born March 22, 1933, in Evening Shade, Ark., son of the late Noah and Lillie Tadlock Pierce, he lived in Charleston most of his life and was retired from the Missouri Department of Transportation
On May 29, 1952, he married Bessie Louise Housman, who preceded him in death on Oct. 25, 1996.
Survivors include: three sons, Philip Pierce of Clarksville, Tenn., Blake Pierce of Morley and Jerry Pierce of Charleston; one daughter, Mary Warren of Diehlstadt; six sisters, Juanita Terrell, Faye Franklin, Gerri Marshall and Anna Sue Rowland all of Wyatt, Janice Gipson of Granite City, Ill., and Nina Lou Rogers of Peoria, Ill.; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Services were conducted today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Bro. Blake Tiema officiated.
Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
