EAST PRAIRIE - C.F. "PeeWee" Henry, 87, died at 8:40 a.m. July 8, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Feb. 23, 1915, in Parma, son of the late Marcus and Myrtle Hicks Henry, he lived in Mississippi County most of his life where he was a member of the First Church of God. He was a retired truck driver and World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.
On Aug. 10, 1938, at Caruthersville, he married Darling Rachel Masterson who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Charley "Bud" and Billie Henry of St. Louis and Charles "Pete" and Carolyn Henry of East Prairie; two daughters and one son-in-law, Helen Jones of Florida and Darlene "Corky" and Lawrence Black of East Prairie; two grandchildren, Marsha Dunn of St. Louis and Steve Henry of East Prairie; and two great-grandchildren, Chelsea Dunn and Graham Dunn of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Marcus Henry.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday. Rob Kespelher, pastor of the First church of God, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
