Born July 26, 1940, in Scott County, son of Winifred Alma Richardson Traw of Chaffee and the late Anthony Ross Traw, he was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired as a clerk and maintenance employee for the Chaffee and Cape Girardeau post offices. He owned and operated Traw Auto Body in Chaffee for 25 years and was a member of the Chaffee General Baptist Church.
On June 28, 1964, he married Carolyn Sue Eby who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: one son, Bryan Traw of Jackson; two brothers, Wesley Traw of Eugene, Ore., and Ross Traw of Venita, Ore.; and one grandson, Blake Anthony Traw of Jackson.
Visitation begins at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Union Park Cemetery with the Rev. Douglas McClellan officiating.
