I would like to speak out about the contract that the people signed with Noranda. Lousy excuse for a contract. The contract gives the retirees who have been there 20, 30 years or more a $20 a month raise for five years, gee, gee, gee. What a big deal. I would like to see Mr. Heddle and the rest of them if they are that desperate for money, take the money back. If they aren't desperate for money, take that $20 and shove it where the sun don't shine. As far as the rest of the contract, those boys down there are working and if their wives are working, she can meet a two, three thousand dollar deductible, she can get her own insurance where she works because she couldn't afford to buy it down there. They are going to get 11 cents an hour over a five year period, boy what a contract. What a joke. You 63 percent I can understand you voting for this big raise, and contract because most of you over-bought, over-spend, but what you better do from now on out when you get up to about 65 years old or 70 by the time you retire you better have plenty of money in the bank because you aren't going to get a thing out of Noranda.

Hey Earthlink subscribers, if you are having trouble accessing the Internet, then go to AOL and you will be instantly connected and when you are you will have to wonder why the tech service at Earthlink tell you it is the telephone line. Then you will have to ask yourself did Jo Ann Emerson have stock in Sprint? Southwestern Bell? or Earthlink? Amazingly the moment I installed the America On Line program I was connected to the Internet for three days after being told by Earthlink I had a phone problem. After immediately being connected by America On Line, I had music playing without the perpetual hummmmmmm. I called tech service them at Earthlink and let them hear it and asked them how or why this is possible. All they could say was you must not have the latest program. But we all know if you are an Earthlink subscriber you know they update regularly but some how instantly I am now connected to Earthlink, one telephone company. I have asked the guy in Charleston and the guy over toward Canalou how it is possible the Internet provider can try and make you high-tech satellite connections when you don't need it, which is exactly what Earthlink was trying to do. If you have been forced into DirectTV by Heartland Wireless, hey they say you can get high speed connections with Earthlink now. How many were forced into this? How many people were ripped off? Ask Jo Ann Emerson if she has stock in Earthlink.

I am sure there are a lot of people who do not know that their kids as long as they are 16 can race their car at the drag strips. I did not think a kid was of age until they were 18. A lot of kids do not have the experience at this age. but they do not have to have a parents consent to do this? Is this legal?

I would like to know if anyone could tell me where I could get a muffler put on my car? I am an elderly lady and don't know much about cars and my muffler is gone.
