BLODGETT - Betty Lou Sexton, 52, died July 19, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, following a brief illness.
Born Jan. 27, 1950, in Mattoon, Ill., daughter of the late Charles and Leola Spurling Bosley Sr., she was a member of Living Grace Fellowship Church in Miner where she served as a Sunday school teacher and was secretary/treasurer.
On Nov. 10, 1992, she married Ronald Sexton Sr. who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Ronnie Sexton Jr. and Chuck Chesmore of Sikeston; three daughters, Kathy Jameson of Fort Smith, Ark., and Tawnya Stanley and Krystal Chesmore of Sikeston; one brother, Charles Bosley Jr. of Toledo, Brenda Bosley of Mattoon and Connie Agiree of California; and eight grandchildren including Kevin Sexton of the home.
One sister, Marjorie Thompson, preceded her in death.
Visitation is from noon Friday at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston until services scheduled for 3 p.m. The Rev. Bob Burnes, pastor of House of Prayer Independent Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Blodgett Cemetery.
