STEELE - Addie Mae Wallace Hays, 73, formerly of Sikeston, died July 4 2004, at the River Oaks Care Center in Steele.
Born July 15, 1930, in Newport, Ark., she was the daughter of the late John and Nettie Richards Wallace.
She had been married to James Merrill Hays who preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Merletta Kaye Hays and Carl Lambert of Nashville, Tenn.; one grandson, Keith Lambert of Nashville; and two great-grandchildren, Terry Lambert and Carly Lambert of Nashville.
Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Kenneth Wallace, Earl Wallace and Noble Wallace; and one sister, Bertha Meyers.
Visitation is from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Graveside services will be conducted after the visitation at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston with the Rev. Don Wallace officiating.
Pallbearers will be: Robert W. Hays, Jim Vines, Steve Hays, Thurman Wallace, Danny McPherson and Eugene Lambert.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Everett Hays and Leo Rofkahr.
