Born April 7, 1948, at Chicago, Ill., son of Leon and Ruth Marcus of Qulin, he was affiliated with the Baptist church, a former employee of Monsanto Chemical Co. in St. Louis and a member of the Wappapello Eagles Club.
Surviving in addition to his parents are: one son, Albert Larry Marcus of Pocahontas, Ark.; one daughter, Robin Ann Todd of Pocahontas, Ark.; one sister, Gloria Bell of Bloomfield; and four grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren. Also a special friend, Loretta Wickenhauser of Dexter, survives.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Gary Hancock officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
