MANSFIELD, Texas - Kathryn Marie "Kay" Cook, 72, formerly of Puxico, Mo., died March 19, 2003, at her home.

Born Dec. 21, 1930, in Puxico, daughter of the late George Wesley and Georgianna Clark Harbin, she lived in Texas since 1955. She was a member of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in Mansfield and Order of the Eastern Star Lodge 433 in Puxico.

On March 8, 1947, in Paragould, Ark., she married Ernest William "Bill" Cook who preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 2003.

Survivors include: three sons, David Cook of Cody, Wyo., Randy Cook of Burkburnett and Mike Cook of Mansfield; one daughter, Nancy Preston of Atlanta, Ga.; five sisters, Doris Cookson, Pat Wilson, Janet Metcalf and Ann Harbin of Puxico and Judy Coble of DeSoto, Mo.; and nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. Sunday until service time at 2 p.m. at the Life Chapel Assembly of God Church in Puxico. The Rev. Wiley McGhee of Puxico will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery near Puxico.

Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Puxico is in charge of arrangements.
