PUXICO - Albert Isaac, 73, died March 20, 2003, at Three Rivers Healthcare North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
Born July 31, 1929, in Kinder, son of the late Ernie and Nora Stroup Isaac, he lived in the Kinder and Puxico areas all his life. A member of the Kinder General Baptist Church, he had been a timber worker with the Arthur James Company and was a custodian for Puxico Schools before retiring.
On Sept. 27, 1952, in Piggott, Ark., he married Norma Crites who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Margie and John Morse of Puxico and Andra and Terry Hawkins of Bloomfield; one son, Larry Isaac of Matthews; two sisters, Georgie Stilts and Ina Mae Waller of Puxico; and 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Isaac on Nov. 15, 1981; one grandson, Michael Cookemboo on Nov. 15, 1979; and three sisters, Pearl Hicks, Geneva Bond and Francis Isaac.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Fagan Cemetery near Puxico.
