SIKESTON - Cynthia Anne Menz and Michael Scott Santy were married Jan. 5, 2002, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston before the Rev. Stephen Schneider.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Judy Menz of Sikeston and the bridegroom is the son of Paul and Donna Santy of East Alton, Ill.
Angela Menz served her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Debbie Deuster, sister of the bride, Rhonda Menz, sister-in-law of the bride and Ellie Eckhoff, friend of the bride. Libby Menz, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Andrew Voorhees attended his friend as best man. Groomsmen were Paul Whitlock, Brian Heiting and Marc Wilkinson, friends of the bridegroom. Matthew Menz, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
Serving as ushers were Joshua Santy, nephew of the bridegroom, and Ben Galke, Jared Gregory and Joe Bradley, friends of the bridegroom.
A dinner and dance reception was held at the Best Western Coach House Inn, where guests were served by Kori Locke and Kristen Hartman, friends of the bride.
A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the bridegroom and his parents, was held at the Ramada Inn in Sikeston.
A 1997 graduate of Sikeston Senior High School, the bride graduated in 2001 from the University of Missouri-Rolla with a degree in electrical engineering.
Santy graduated in 1997 from East Alton-Wood River Community High School and earned a degree in computer engineering in 2001 from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
Following a honeymoon trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple now resides in Huntsville, Ala.
