MALDEN -- Amber Marie Dill and Garry Kenred Anderson II were united in marriage during a 4 p.m. ceremony June 16, 2007, at the Church of Christ in Malden. Larry Wilson, minister, performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Rod and Donna Dill of Malden. She is the granddaughter of Deloris Dill and Charles and Carol Hayes of Malden and the late Freeman Dill.
Parents of the bridegroom are Garry and Margaret Anderson of Sikeston. He is the grandson of Edna Anderson of Bloomfield and the late Cotton Anderson.
The sanctuary was adorned with flowers by Donna's Flower Shop of Malden. Candle lighter was J.T. Carle of Pittsburg, Pa., brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were Jeremy Carle of St. Peters, brother of the bridegroom and Jason Dill of Malden, brother of the bride. Attending the guest book were Olivia and Rachel Carle, nieces of the bridegroom.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless satin A-line dress from David's Bridal Collection, which featured a split front embroidered overskirt with pearls. A chapel-length train completed the ensemble.
Matron of honor was Jodi Fowler, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Nicole Ayers of Dexter, Sherrie Dill of Malden, sister-in-law of the bride, and Natalie McDaniels of Jonesboro, Ark. Flower girls were nieces of the bride, Carley Jo Fowler, daughter of Tony and Jodi Fowler; and Kaysen Dill, daughter of Jason and Sherrie Dill of Malden and Chris and Candis Perry.
Serving as best man was Ryan Lewis of Louisville, Ky. Groomsmen were Justin Newman and Justin Williams of Sikeston and Justin Taylor of Lexington, Ky. Ringbearers were nephews of the bridegroom, Todd and Grant Sanders, sons of Dr. Cary and Katrina Sanders of Metairie, La.
Receptions followed the ceremony at the church and the Malden Country Club.
Following a honeymoon in Jamaica, the new Mr. and Mrs. Anderson are making their home in Dexter.
