SIKESTON -- David Farrell Williams, 53, died at 12 p.m. Oct. 24, 2003, at Clearview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sikeston.
Born March 18, 1950, in Morley, son of Esther O. Kell Williams of Sikeston and the late Tillman E. Williams, he had been an electrician with the Sikeston Power Plant. He served in the United States Navy, obtaining a rank of CM-2 construction mechanic and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Sikeston.
Besides his mother he is survived by: two daughters, Lisa Ventura of Benton and Stephanie Manning of Springfield; seven brothers, John T. Williams of Madrid, Calif., Merlin Williams of Little Egypt, Ill., Leon Williams of Scott, Ark., Jim Williams and Harold Williams of Sikeston, Chuck C. Williams of Euless, Texas and Wendell Williams of Dahlonega, Ga.; three sisters, Wanda Faughn of Dearborn Heights, Mich., Della Mae Phillips of Benton and Rusty Ryal of Springhill, Fla; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one grandson.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services are planned for 2 p.m. Monday with Kelley Grubbs, pastor of the Murray Lane Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
