Sikeston man will turn 85

SIKESTON -- Friends and relatives of John Cohen are invited to attend his 85th birthday celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. July 4 at the Tanner Street Church of God. Attendees should enter on the Lake Street side of the church.

The event is hosted by Cohen's children: John Cohen Jr. of Knob Noster, Martha Bergbigler of Eaton, Ohio, and Paul Cohen and Sharon Brown of Sikeston. He also has 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and was married to the late Betty Cohen.

The family requests that gives be omitted.
