ORAN - Marie Casler, 77, died at 8:15 p.m. July 5, 2004, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
Born Nov. 6, 1926, in Paragould, Ark., daughter of the late Homer and Grace Wright Bateman, she retired as an inspector in Lansing, Mich. A member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Chaffee, she was also a member of the Women of the Royal Order of the Moose 288 in Lansing.
On Feb. 21, 1948, she married Donald E. Casler who preceded her in death on June 22, 1990.
Survivors include: two daughters, Sharon Garcia of Lansing and Andrea Woodfin of Oran; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
One sister and one grandson also preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 3 p.m. Thursday until service time at 6 p.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. The Rev. Wayne Schwiesow will officiate.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Deepdale Memorial Park in Lansing with Palmer Bush Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
