Frank Daun

DEXTER - Frank Daun, 68, died Dec. 2, 2002, at Missouri Southern Healthcare.

Born June 6, 1934, at Reil, Germany, son of the late Martin and Barbara Briesch Daun, he was a riverboat deckhand for Inland Tugs and was of the Catholic belief.

His wife, Mary Lou Daun, survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Michele Daun of Marion, Ill.; one brother, Theo Daun of Germany; four sisters, Helene Nilles, Maria Daun, Martina Daun and Gisela Daun of Germany; and one granddaughter, Alexis Daun of Marion.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, Wilhelm Daun, Johann Daun, Herman Daun, Christoph Daun and Bernhard Daun; and one sister, Kunikunda Daun.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at the Dexter Cemetery with the Rev. Linda Zych officiating.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
