Making progress

P and R Developers pour one of the final sections of Wakefield Avenue Tuesday afternoon. Although delays were caused because additional rock was required due to a base failure and the Sikeston Board of Municipal Utilities had to repair water mains that were leaking before the street repairs could be made, Director of Public Works Tom Bridger says the project is expected to be completed in the very near future. Sidewalk work will be completed after the street work is done.
