Born Nov. 30, 1911, in New Madrid County, son of the late Elmer Enoch and Viola Ann McFadden Eby, he was a retired self-employed farmer and member of the General Baptist Church in Chaffee.
On July 4, 1941, at LaForge, he married Vida Taylor who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Mike "Al" Eby of Whitewater; one daughter, Sue Traw of Chaffee; one sister, Helen Fields of Decatur, Ill.; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Visitation begins at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee with the Rev. Watis Harrell officiating.
Pallbearers will be: Mike Eby II, Bryan Traw, Alan Ikerman, Dennis Dolan, Mike Fields and James Reitzel.
