The daughter of Narvice Garmon and Willie Garmon, Mrs. Nelson is a hand packer for Good Humor-Breyers.

Nelson, son of Gwendella Nelson and Steve Minner, is a wrapper for Good Humor-Breyers.

CAPE GIRARDEAU - Stephen J. and Amanda B. Kitchen are the parents of their fifth daughter, born at 7:09 p.m. May 13, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Kalee Stevana Mae Kitchen weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces and was 20-inches long.

Mrs. Kitchen is the former Amanda Henson, daughter of Tommy Henson of Sikeston and Janet Ivie of Morley.

Kitchen, son of Herbert and Belinde Kitchen of Sikeston, is employed by Concord Publishing.

SIKESTON - Joseph Martin and Stephanie Roshell McElroy are the parents of their second child, first daughter, born at 8:15 p.m. May 14, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Samantha Roshell McElroy weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces and was 20 1/2-inches long.

Mrs. McElroy is the former Stephanie Williams, daughter of Ralph and Joyce Williams of Campbell and John and Linda Robertson of Bloomfield.

McElroy, son of Cleo and Brenda McElroy of Diehlstadt, is self-employed with McElroy Construction.

MILLERSVILLE - Terry Allen and Ashley Carol Drum are the parents of their third child, first daughter, born at 12:31 p.m. May 14, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Loran Ashley Drum weighed 4 pounds, 5 ounces and was 18-inches long.

The former Ashley Thrower, Mrs. Drum is the daughter of Julie Ann Thrower of Sikeston and Tyke and Julia Thrower of Cape Girardeau.

Drum, son of Terry and Lupe Drum of Millersville, works in warehouse operations for Advanced Logistics.

BENTON - Melvin Eugene and Ashley Nichole Lomax are the parents of their second child, first daughter, born at 7:50 a.m. May 14, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Destiny Shae Lomax weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces and was 18 1/2-inches long.

Mrs. Lomax is the former Ashley Holmes, daughter of Sara and Tom Powers of Scott City and Terry and Sheri Holmes of Oran.

Lomax is the son of Randy and Sheila Byassee of Benton and Melvin Lomax of High Point, N.C.

CHARLESTON - Keith Allen and Leslie Carol Ellis are the parents of their second child, first daughter, born at 7:31 p.m. May 14, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Abigail Sadie Ellis weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19-inches long.

The former Leslie Childers, Mrs. Ellis is the daughter of Bruce and Carolyn Childers of Charleston and is a pharmacy technician.

Ellis, son of Ed Ellis of Bernie, is an insurance agent.

SIKESTON - Cheryl Ann Chambers and Timothy Eugene Johnson are the parents of their third daughter, born at 5:16 a.m. May 15, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Gabrielle Marie Johnson weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and was 18 1/2-inches long.

Chambers, daughter of Needa Bowling of East Prairie and Robert Chambers of Crothersville, Ind., is employed by Skinny's Diner.

Johnson, son of Doyle and Janet Johnson of Sikeston, is employed by DeWitt.

PADUCAH, Ky. - Chuck and Ann Simpson are the parents of a daughter, Katherine Elizabeth Simpson, born April 26, 2004, in Paducah.

Mrs. Simpson is the former Ann Ponder, daughter of Jim and Sarah Ponder of Charleston, Mo.

Simpson is the son of Bob and Lorraine Simpson of Sikeston, Mo. Great Grandparents are P.J. and Evelyn Ponder of Sikeston.
