SIKESTON - Six of the 10 Kiwanis Clubs of Division 13, Mo-Ark District, Kiwanis International, were represented Tuesday night at the annual family party and district caucus held on the lawn of the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Kirk.

SIKESTON - Friday the 13th held true to form for the second performance of the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo. But T.G. Sheppard came on and wooed his audience, helping them to forget the problems that plagued the show after electrical and technical problems at the beginning were corrected. The "unabashed King of Honky-Tonk," Marion Franklin "Mo" Bandy Jr., appeared in Sikeston Saturday night at the third performance of the 30th annual Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo.

SIKESTON - Steve Borgsmiller wants to see Sikeston expand and develop into a commercial and industrial power and he says that is possible without losing the city's conservative, family-oriented atmosphere. So what's the key? "Aggressiveness, teamwork and a strong hard-work ethic," said Sikeston's new city manager.
