GATLINBURG, Tenn. - Charles and Ruth Chaney of Sikeston, Mo., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary by renewing their wedding vows on July 25 at the Evergreen Chapel in Gatlinburg.

The couple was married July 4, 1942, in Morley, Mo. Their children and spouses, Connie and Paul Taylor of Poplar Bluff, Van and Marjorie Chaney of Heidelberg, Germany, and their grandchildren, Brian and Melissa Taylor and Carrie Chaney attended the ceremony which was arranged by the couple's children.

Mr. and Mrs. Taylor walked the bride down the aisle to "Always." Mrs. Chaney's ivory dress was complemented with a wedding veil she had made for her daughter's wedding 35 years ago.

Festivities continued with dinner at the Old Mill Restaurant in Pigeon Forge and wedding cake and punch were served at the hotel.
