SIKESTON - Lorene Fairweather, 83, died at 9:40 p.m. April 28, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born March 25, 1920, in Lilbourn, son of the late Albert and Carrie Hill Fodge, she was an inspector and worked in quality control for Shakeproof Incorporated at Elgin, Ill., a division of Illinois Tool and Works Incorporated, retiring in 1978 after 27 years of service. She moved to Sikeston in 1978, where she was a member of Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include: one brother, Harry Fodge of Maple Park, Ill.; three sisters, Eva Shaw of Sikeston, Helen Potter of Byron, Ga., and Jewell Tucker of Mountain Home, Ark.; and special friends, Ann and Jack Brock of Sikeston.
One brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 12:30 p.m. Thursday until service time at 2 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Larry Davis, pastor of Trinity Gospel Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
