Evening fire

Fire fighters with the Sikeston Department of Public Safety extinguish a fire at Arby's Monday evening. At 6:20 p.m., Sikeston DPS received a call that the Arby's building was on fire and spreading rapidly. Upon arrival, fire fighters found light smoke showing and heavy smoke inside the building. Main Street was shut down for a short time while the fire was extinguished. No other information was available at press time.
