SIKESTON -- Sikeston Area Youth Baseball results for Monday were as follows.


D & S Salvage jumped to a 7-2 lead, then held on to defeat Jim Wilson.

Seth Williams and Austin Bowman had two hits each, including a home run apiece, for D & S. Gabe Wheeler, Lane Williams and Clark Atchison also collected two hits each.

Derin Hoskins, Caleb Hampton, Kaleb Newton and Zach Sims had two hits apiece for Jim Wilson.

Ponder erased a 7-6 deficit with two runs in its final at-bat.

Zach Stinnett and Adam Kennard went 3-for-3 for Ponder, while Doug Still, Graison Calbert, Brock Brown and Josh Crowden added two hits apiece. Kennard had a home run.

Layton Jones and Wesley Shaw had three hits in three trips for Blanchard. Gavin O'Brien, Joe Cooksey and Cole Burnett had two hits each.

Colton Black, Brandon Housman and Jason Brashear ripped three hits each for Randy's.

Blake Below went 1-for-1 for Blanchard.


Andrew McDowell and Nicholas Bird blanked Burger King for five innings en route to the win.

McDowell also paced the Legion offense with two hits.

James Naile and Josh Carlyle split Burger Kings' two hits.

The undefeated Lions (13-0), behind Jason Issacs, rolled over KSIM.

Zach Myers went 4-for-4 to top the Lions' offense, while Marshall Stallings was 3-for-5 and Nathan Rodgers 2-for-4 with a home run.

Tanner Bryant and Ross Bohannon went 2-for-3 for KSIM.


Tyler Ramey and Josh Pierce shut down the Elks and Chase Ferrell went 3-for-3 on the offensive side.

Zach Culver had three hits for the Elks.

Clayton Mayfield doubled home two runs and Stan Ivie got the win for U.S. Bank.

Casey Burton went 3-for-3 and Adam Kimball doubled in a run for First National.
