CHARLESTON - Eris Naomi May, 80, died at 11 a.m. May 13, 2003, at the Charleston Manor.
Born March 18, 1923, in Oakland, Ill., daughter of the late John Ozro and Elsie Harvey Lehr, she lived in Mississippi County most of her life and was a member of the Wyatt Baptist Church.
On Oct. 11, 1941, she married William Warren May who preceded her in death on May 7, 1996.
Survivors include: four sons, Warren Hugh May of San Jose, Calif., Ozro Lee May of Middleberg, Fla., Ronald W. May of Lilbourn and Stanley May of rural Charleston; four daughters, Naomi Brantley of rural Charleston, Brenda Riggs of Bertrand, Carolyn Swim of Blytheville, Ark., and Gail Lee of Benton; one brother, Anderson Lehr of Lodi, Wis.; two sisters, Leota Stokes of Rockford, Ill., and Mary Cross of Lodi; and 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were four brothers, Virgil Lehr, Max Lehr, Kenneth Lehr and John Lehr; and one sister, Maureen Forrister.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Tom Bridges of Sikeston will officiate.
Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
Pallbearers will be her sons, Warren Hugh May, Ozro Lee May, Ronald W. May and Stanley May.
