DEXTER - Aurelia Margaret Ivy, 80, died July 1, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Nov. 29, 1923, in Campbell, daughter of the late Jesse James and Lydia Margaret Welker Fields, she lived in Dexter most of her life where she was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Her first husband, Vernon H. Burge, preceded her in death in 1969. She later married John J. Ivy who died in 1972.

Survivors include: one son, Jimmie Burge of Dexter; one daughter, Mary S. Blanton of Bloomfield; one stepdaughter, Sandra Kay Riehn of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Leo Fields of Poplar Bluff; two granddaughters, Amy J. Pugh of Bloomfield and Jamie Ann Burge of Senatobia, Miss.; and two great-grandsons.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Doyal Fields in infancy; four brothers, Hollan Fields, Jay Fields, Lloyd Fields and Loyal Fields; and a special friend, Charles Lepchenske in 1982.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday. The Revs. Bob Wiggins and Vic Suhany of Dexter will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery near Dexter.
